Waste an easy 30 minutes by visiting Cake Wrecks, one of my favorite I-need-a-break-and-a-chuckle-sites. In the meantime, here are a few of my own gems - Barbie was made by my girlfriends and I for another girlfriend's birthday party.  First, she was too tall so we had to chop off half of her legs and then she looked like Stripper Barbie popping out of the cake and finally she started tilting to one side and cracking the cake in half.  The Pink Blob was made for this past Easter.  It was sliding all over and cracking but we still thought we should eat it.  BAD idea - it was a Pink Lemonade Cake recipe from Paula Deen and it was AWFUL!!!!  But I just have to laugh - I am a completely-awful-terrible-no-good-baker!!
