Tebola Virus

Beergaritas! Or as I am calling them today, the Tebola Virus (Thanks for your Tebow Top Ten Dave Letterman! See below)

We first tried these this summer when we were in Iowa for a family wedding. My husband’s Florida cousins made them on a hot and humid day and it was love at first sip! They are perfect for a football game or on a hot day when you need something perfectly refreshing.

  

TEBOLA VIRUS (aka Beergaritas)

• 6 (12 oz) light beers (Bud Light Lime works really great because of the lime flavor)
• 12 oz white agave tequila
• 1 can frozen Barcardi Margarita Mix (or Limeade but don’t get the store brand, it will taste weird and plastic-y)

Dump can of frozen limeade into the bottom of a large pitcher. Empty all 6 beers into pitcher. Fill one of those empty bottles with tequila (much easier than measuring it out in a cup!) and pour into pitcher. Stir until the limeade is dissolved. No need to garnish and try to get classy – I mean you are mixing beer, tequila and limeade together...  Just pour into a plastic cup, stuff your face with chips and cheer on the Broncos until you have no voice left!
